Founded in 2020 by Dr. Zakir Ahmed, Rawdah Institute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating, nurturing, and empowering the next generation of Muslim leaders. Inspired by the timeless teachings of the Qur’an and the Prophetic tradition, the Institute seeks to cultivate individuals who embody faith, integrity, and purpose while making a meaningful impact in their communities.
Through its programs, community initiatives, and spiritual development efforts, Rawdah Institute provides young people with the guidance, knowledge, and support they need to grow as thoughtful, compassionate, and principled leaders. Its mission is to equip participants not only to excel personally but also to inspire positive change, uphold ethical values, and contribute to the broader well-being of society.
By fostering both personal growth and community engagement, Rawdah Institute envisions a future where faith-driven leadership flourishes and the values of wisdom, compassion, and service resonate through generations.
Rawdah Institute is a New York State–registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization, founded in 2020 by Dr. Zakir Ahmed and sustained by a dedicated team of brothers and sisters.
We are committed to connecting Muslims of all backgrounds—especially young people—with the rich Islamic tradition through high-quality programs and instruction in Islamic sciences and personal development.

Rawdah Institute is embarking on a historic journey to establish
its first permanent home in Westchester, New York. Alhamdulillah, we
have identified a property for the future home of Rawdah Institute
and Rawdah Community Center — a center dedicated to faith,
knowledge, and community.
Our goal is to raise $2 million to bring this vision to life and create
a lasting space that serves the spiritual, educational, and social
needs of our growing community.
